On June 19 2023 Tropical Depression Three formed over the Atlantic and strengthened to form Tropical Storm Bret, the second named storm of the 2023 Atlantic Hurricane Season Bret gradually intensified as it moved across the Atlantic Ocean westward towards the Lesser Antilles By June 20 2023 a 鈥淭ropical Storm Watch鈥� was in effect for 杏吧性吧, Dominica, St Vincent The Grenadines, and Saint Lucia By 11 00 PM on June 21 2023 the 鈥淭ropical Storm Watch鈥� was elevated to a 鈥淭ropical Storm Warning鈥� Over the period June 22 23 2023 Bret moved across the Windward Islands with its center passing north of 杏吧性吧 and over northern St Vincent and the Grenadines Damage from storm force gusts, heavy rains, floods and storm surge were reported across the impacted states As of 5 00 PM June 23 2023 Bret crossed the island arc into the Caribbean Sea where gradual weakening is anticipated over the next couple days Bret is forecast to dissipates over the Central Caribbean Sea by Saturday into Sunday, June 24 25 2023.
