UNICEF's Latin America and Caribbean Regional Office and the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA), signed a Memorandum of Understanding to co-operate on the development of more resilient communities, states and regional actors in preparation for disasters or emergencies in one of the most disaster-prone areas in the world.

The National Emergency Management Organisation (NEMO) will release a 鈥楰now the Tsunami Warning Signs Video鈥� on Monday 5th November, 2018 to commemorate 鈥淲orld Tsunami Awareness Day.鈥� This video was produced locally by NEMO in collaboration with a number of popular local Soca Artistes, through funding from the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) under the Country Directed Fund (CDF).
