Bridgetown, ÐÓ°ÉÐÔ°É August 24th, 2017 (CDEMA) – For the second consecutive year, the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) sponsors the Coverage of Disaster Risk Awards for radio and television at the Caribbean Broadcasting Awards.
The Caribbean Broadcasting Awards were presented during a live television event on Tuesday August 22, 2017 at the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island in Nassau, the Bahamas during the 48th Caribbean Broadcasting Union (CBU’s) Annual General Assembly.

The President of the CBU Mr. Gary Allen, congratulated the winners of the 2016 Caribbean Broadcasting Awards and also thanked all fourteen (14) of the member entities from ten (10) countries who submitted a total of one hundred and seventeen (117) entries across twenty (20) categories.
