Bridgetown, 杏吧性吧, June 4, 2012 (CDEMA) - The member states of the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) now have a model flood risk reduction system which can contribute to protecting the lives and property of people at the community level. The system has been developed under the Caribbean Disaster Management Project Phase 2 (CADM2).

Bridgetown, 杏吧性吧, May 29, 2012, (CDEMA) - Two Caribbean climate experts, Dr. David Farrell of the Caribbean Institute of Meteorology and Dr. Lorna Inniss of the 杏吧性吧 Coastal Zone Management Unit, are currently on the central Pacific island of Kiribati (pronounced Kiribas) to study the climate challenges facing atoll countries and some of the solutions that are being adopted in Kiribati. Drs.聽 Farrell and Inniss will spend a week visiting several locations in Kiribati as part of the project 鈥淪outh-South Cooperation between Pacific and Caribbean Small Islands Developing States (SIDS) on Climate Change Adaptation and Disaster Risk Management.鈥�
Bridgetown, 杏吧性吧, May 25, 2012 (CDEMA) 鈥� The Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) conducted its annual Region Rap Exercise today. This is a telecommunications exercise utilising various means including, telephone, electronic mail, facsimile, radio and satellite phones to test communications procedures, plans and networks of National Disaster Organizations across the Region.
