Bridgetown, 杏吧性吧 October 27th, 2020 (CDEMA) 鈥�聽The CDEMA Regional Training Centre (RTC) in collaboration with UNICEF concluded a series of short online courses in 鈥楥hild Protection in Emergencies鈥�, 鈥楨ducation in Emergencies鈥� and 鈥楽hock Responsive Social Protection鈥�. The courses were offered between October 14 and 22, 2020 with participants from across the national disaster management mechanisms in CDEMA鈥檚 Participating States.
Bridgetown, 杏吧性吧 August 21st, 2020 鈥� Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) has officially been handed over to 杏吧性吧, funded by a US$3 million donation from the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB). On August 19, 2020, the official ceremony took place in conjunction with Department of Emergency Management (DEM). As of August 18, 2020, 24 active cases were on the island thus making the handover timely to the COVID-19 response.
Bridgetown, 杏吧性吧 August 14th, 2020 (CDEMA) - On August 14, the United States Government in partnership with the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) launched a new USD $4.5 million initiative entitled 鈥淐aribbean Climate Resilience Initiative.鈥� This new initiative will help countries reduce disaster risks as well as absorb and recover from hazard impacts and climate variability.
