Bridgetown, 杏吧性吧 August 14th, 2020 (CDEMA) - On August 14, the United States Government in partnership with the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) launched a new USD $4.5 million initiative entitled 鈥淐aribbean Climate Resilience Initiative.鈥� This new initiative will help countries reduce disaster risks as well as absorb and recover from hazard impacts and climate variability.

The shipment of supplies worth over USD$700,000 arrived at the Grantley Adams International Airport on July 26, 2020.
Bridgetown, 杏吧性吧 July 23rd, 2020 (CDEMA) - Critically needed personal protective equipment (PPE) is on its way to medical workers on the front lines of the Caribbean鈥檚 COVID-19 pandemic response.
Yesterday, the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) and the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) took delivery of the majority of US$3 million worth of PPE at the Port of Bridgetown. CDB procured and purchased the equipment with concessional resources through the Bank鈥檚 Special Development Fund.
