Bridgetown, 杏吧性吧, July 9th, 2019 (CDEMA) 鈥� Representatives from participating states of the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) and staff of the CDEMA Coordinating Unit are benefiting from an Information Management & Assessment Workshop being held in 杏吧性吧, July 8-10, 2019.聽 The workshop, which is being implemented under the project 鈥淪trengthen integrated and cohesive preparedness capacity at a regional, national and community level in the Caribbean鈥�, is being facilitated by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN OCHA).聽

Bridgetown, 杏吧性吧, July 8th, 2019 (CDEMA) - CDEMA and the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today at CDEMA Headquarters ensuring cooperation on disaster risk management. The MoU, which was signed by Prime Minister of Sint Maarten, Honourable Leona Marlin-Romeo and Executive Director of CDEMA, Ronald Jackson, will apply to the islands of Aruba, Cura莽ao, Sint Maarten and the Netherlands including the public entities of Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba. The cooperation aims to limit the impacts of climate change by strengthening the conditions necessary for sustainable regional development.聽
