Bridgetown, ÐÓ°ÉÐÔ°É, October 10, 2012 (CDEMA) - The Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) through the European Union (EU) funded ‘Disaster Risk Management Sub Regional Programme’ is continuing to enhance community resilience in the region. Twelve (12) pilot communities, one in each of 12 CDEAMA Participating States are at varying stages of improving their preparedness to respond to various hazards.

The Honorable Noel Arscott, Member of Parliament and Minister of Local Government and Community Development, Jamaica’s representative to the Council, will be the new Chairman.
