Bridgetown, ÐÓ°ÉÐÔ°É, October 7th, 2015 (CDEMA) - CDEMA Executive Director Ronald Jackson arrives in Nassau Bahamas today, October 7th, 2015. Upon arrival, Mr. Jackson will be meeting with the Right Honourable Perry Christie, Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, followed by a briefing on the status of operations at the NEMA Emergency Operations Centre. The Executive Director is joined on mission by Mr. Bruno Pouezat, Jamaica’s United Nations Resident Coordinator a.i./ United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Resident Representative a.i. and Mr. Ian King, Programme Manager-Disaster and Climate Risk Management, UNDP Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean. His day’s schedule ends with consultations with the UNDP team on the identification of short and long term priorities for Recovery and Reconstruction and the re-engagement of development partners.
